...to go with my special agent, which one to go with? Fyi.., I'm a 200 average tweener w/low revs and med ball speed that typically plays on house conditions.

Thanks, dlenart.

I'm intending to use for transitional purposes.  However, I've read where some bowlers were so impressed by the T-Road that this became a starter.

Anyways, I've read many positives about both balls... and what you typed is what I was thinking.  Shift for more slop and T-Road for more friction.  I see both balls in my future.

Btw, I just bought the Special Agent a month ago, and love it... (except when it gets real dry).  I had just come off of using an El Nino X-it for 5yrs.

From what I have seen, And I have thrown both (albeit someone elses). The T-Road is much more skid-flippy than than the Shift. Shift seems a little cleaner though the fronts and very similar in the mids compared to the Special with a little more pop on the backend. I am drilling one today for the U.S. Open and will post a review ASAP.

Thanks for your write-up, dlenart, appreciate it.  

Even though it's fun to buy and throw new/different balls etc., I think versatility is the way to go.  I'll have to take a look at the Pyro!

yes like dlenart stated it depends on how the lanes are running what you want to use now I own shift,special and t-road lately i have only been using my shift sometime i can use it all night i have alot of speed and hand and like he stated  the shift is a very strong ball  but when the backends are dry by 3rd game ill pull out me t-road and go from there ive thrown my friends pyro and its a good ball as well kinda hard to decide because storm has alot of good balls out right now just have to get what fits your game and go from there

Yeah the ball I use the most is the T-Struck Solid and those are wicked cheap.

The pro-shop I go to got a TNV in two days ago.  I was itchin' and almost pulled the trigger.  Tonight, they are supposed to receive a few Shifts (all 15lb'rs). The T-Road I put on order is backordered till who knows when. Will check on the Pyro when I go over tonight.

Make sure to talk it over real good with the pro shop person.  People have had success with all three of these balls so make sure you get the right one.

Couldn't resist, I bought a Shift last night and it's all drilled up for action tonight.  I'm sure I'll love it but too bad this ball is rank, orange ginger is not a good scent.

That's weird..My Proshop doesn't carry much in stock.  If you want a ball you call them before 1:00pm because at 1:30 pm He has to have all his orders in for the day. Once the order is placed the equipment is delivered by 4pm the same day and your ball is ready by 5pm..It works out great for me because I call him first thing in the morning then drive over there after work and the ball is ready..The distributor is never out of stock.  Hope they get the T-Road in soon for you..It is a very fun ball if the backend's are clean..

My favorite scents are the Fruity/Berry types...Usually found on the lines below the Paradigm stuff.  Go figure.

I like the arrangement you have going!  Yeah, a 15lb T-Road seems to be difficult for these guys to get a hold of.  They can easily get all other weights. Strange.

I have to agree, the fruity/berry scents are my favs, too. My wife loved the SA's scent and thought of sushi when she smelled the Shift, haha.

I would have to agree with the PYRO. It is very versitle and works well on many different lane conditions without have to adjust the cover.

T-ROAD seems to be for one type of lane, depending on how you throw it.

But for the money you are going to spend, the PYRO would be the way to go.
