How close are the Flash Force and Flash Point?
« on: June 01, 2004, 09:07:57 AM »
If I drill them the same will I notice that much difference?  The Point seems to be really rolly by nature and not flippy at all, while the Force is supposed to be a more rolly/even arcing piece.  Anyone have both?  I was looking at getting just two balls to bowl with everywhere for the summer just so I can learn to adjust with a less number of balls from house to house.  Let me know, or which two storm balls would be more suitable for a 1-2 combo(PS.  I'm trying to stay away from the X-Factor line.  high diff assymetricals don't fit my game too well)

Based on what I've seen with people who throw both balls, the Flashpoint is more of a skid/snap reaction ball and the Flash Force is more of the arc ball. I think that would be a good one/two combination, especially if you bowl on a lot of medium, medium/heavy or medium/light oil conditions. Up in my neck of the woods a lot of people have been shooting a ton of honor scores with the Flash Point as their number 1 ball, and I've seen others throw some high 700 series with the Flash Force.
