Shift
« on: October 11, 2007, 01:47:53 PM »
I just picked up a used Shift and WOW. This ball is very strong. It is drilled leverage (at least that is what was said to me). I tried to stand and throw my normal shot, but could not keep the ball in the pocket. So I moved to 24 with left and threw around 10 at the arrows. Ball seemed to bounce off the dry and rip into the pocket. First shot, I left a stone 8 pin. Scores were not that high, but the ball was great. Just need to get used to how strong or save it for when nothing else will make it back to the pocket.

I am just wondering if anyone else was surprised at how strong this ball was when they threw it for the first time.

I was amazed at the motion of this ball. Sometimes it is hard to believe it is a particle pearl. I use it when the condition lets me swing the ball from the middle out. It will be interesting to see what the Attitude shift is like.......

The Attitude is a beast. Cleaner through the fronts than the Passion was, we had two for an open house and it was incredible how much it picked up in the midlane and then the backend it was just continous.

I would be one of those people who were surprised.  That ball was pretty hardcore.  I would like to buy one for myself at some point.

Leverage for the original owner is not necessarily leverage for you.

But it was plugged and redrilled for me. So as I said, it is drilled leverage, at least that is what was said to me.
