Something to compliment my X-Factor
« on: November 04, 2003, 01:51:54 AM »
Which of these do you think would be the best ball to compliment my X-Factor
when the heads are going away? We don't get much carry down so that is not a concern.

Core Power HRG, Barbed Wire, Eraser Blaze, Hot Rod, or any other suggestions you have.

My A game is playing a little swing. Around 11-13 board at arrows out to about the 7-9 at the break point.

My X is drilled 3 3/8 X 3 3/4 RAD is between track and strong.
This ball drill combo gives me a strong backend reaction that I would
say is a 8  on a scale of 1-10 for arc-angular 10 being most angular and I would like something similar in reaction.

my x is drilled almost identical to yours. i grabbed a power charge and i cant say enough about it. your other selections sound good too though. guess it just depends  on how much length you want.

heh bob if my charge dies at 100 games   i might take your advice and grab a bruiser or blazing inferno, but for now im glad i bought one. It definatly clears the heads with ease (i even have a slight polish on mine) and makes a nice move to the pocket, not near as violent as my X but my X is drilled strong where this is just a more tame drilling. i have not tried in on synthetics yet. My x-factor on synthetics at my local house was VERY over/under.

Thanks for all the advice I think from what I have read here and elsewhere I am going to go with the Barbed Wire. I was considering the HRG but I think it's cover would make it too close to my X-Factor on this condition. In a perfect world I could find a ball with the X-Factor core and Barbed Wire cover.
