Hy-Road Nano USBC approved October 3, 2017. Anyone know if this going to be a US or overseas release?

The Hyroad Solid was a tragedy.  The Rocket Ship is the ball the Hyroad Solid should have been.

I never threw one but I don't remember the Hyroad solid being a hit with R2S on it can't imagine with NANO cover.

Was there enough difference between the hyroad and the rocketship for it to matter? I know a lot feel the rocketship was Storms attempt at replacing the hyroad. I guess it could have been worse it could have been the Optimus Solid lol

The Optimus Solid was also a tragedy lol.  Rocket Ship isn't a Hyroad, but it's not a bad imitation.  If the Torrent Rush is stateside, that might do it though.

What's odd to me, is that as my IQ Tour lane shined, it seem to get better for me. As the Rocket Ship with the same cover lane shined for me, it got worse. I'm guessing its maybe due to the starting surface of the balls.
Current Rotation:
PhysiX
Code X
Code Black
Axiom Pearl
Phaze III
Trend
IQ Tour

Has to do with RG also, IQ Tour, very low RG, so it's already going to roll early and smooth, add surface, earlier and smoother, remove surface and add shape.  Rocket Ship, higher RG, surface balances out the length, as it shines, gets longer and stronger, perhaps too long.  Surface yes, also RG in addition.

It was so bad it's hard to forget.  Really sad because I liked the core, but I think the core is why they sucked.  Marvel Pearl, one of the greatest balls Storm ever made, Optimus, same cover, different core, dog shiatsu.  Confused.

Ill never forget, the Optimus was what made stop drilling Storm balls entirely, it was that bad. Id rather use a house ball.

Im surprised anybody remembers that terrible line

We have 1 senior bowler that loves the Optimus Solid but at the same time he also has multiple Marvel Pearls that he likes just as much if not more.

I wouldnt mind seeing the Tri sphere core again with a different cover. I thought it had potential but maybe wasnt a great match to R2X

What cover do you think would have been better? I got my hands on an Optimus X (R3S) and it was the biggest Storm turd I've ever thrown. 2nd worst ball I've ever thrown.
League: Pitch Purple, Destiny Magenta
Testing: MVP

I always wondered about pairing the ERG hybrid from the Crux with it

The problem with that core was it wanted to hook early and it spun up quick too. You would have to pair it with a milder cover and less surface to make it behave for the average bowler. if you put anything stronger than the R2x Of the Marvel Pearl with it you've got a puke monster. With the Tri-Sphere cores tendency to spin up quicker might have been interesting with R2S or Reactor on it.
