The ball is not even out yet and they are already offering a 'free' comparison with their ridiculously overpriced ball.

Well, $289 is kind of high, but break it down and each ball is only going to cost you $144.50 on average.

$144.50 for a high performance ball isn't too bad of a price, is it?

$144 isn't too bad, but when you consider you can just buy the other ball you want for about $120, you need to think how badly you want to try an Elite ball.  I wouldn't do it, but that's just me.  I don't need to go to my leagues, with a $300 ball and shoot what I would normally shoot with a $150 anyways to get laughed at.

Just my opinion though.

I no longer buy balls online, so it would be up to my driller/proshop to stock such a ball. That will never happen. Brian Voss can rant away about Elite and the future of bowling, but this good ole boy ain't buying either...

Come to think of it: isn't that how to get the point across?

That price is a little too steep for a 15 year old, but hey if you have that much many too spend, go right ahead.  I am saving up for a Special Agent though.
