Need help selecting a ball
« on: February 21, 2007, 05:08:02 AM »
I have decided that I am going to give Storm a chance.  I was throwing Columbia and Track but since the recent buy out I am switching companies because I simply hate Ebonite stuff.  I am currently looking for a ball that can handle slick lanes.  I am wondering what you may suggest out of Storms current lineup for Heavy Oil lanes.  Currently my most aggressive ball is an Action.  I would like to find something more aggressive then that.  I would prefer I reactive symetrical core ball, but would gladly except any information on any of the balls

I believe you're describing the Special Agent.

For a symmetrical core, that would be the Special Agent (solid) and Double Agent (particle pearl?).  For asymmetrical core, there is also the Passion.  Maybe someone else can chime in on the Passion...

Unfortunately, I haven't really seen anyone throw an Action in my area so I can't compare my Special Agent to it.

Special Agent. I own both the Action and the Special Agent, and yes the SA is more aggressive and handles the slick stuff better than the Action

Wow, I didn't know that.

The Passion is going to backend harder whereas the Special Agent is earlier and more continuous.  Adjust the length of the breakpoint with the cover adjustment and drilling.
