Title: Special Agent
Post by: lefty50 on April 26, 2011, 07:42:41 AM
It's time to replace my beloved Special Agent. I'm having trouble finding something current that can match the low Rg and high diff symmetric core. I definitely favor symmetric cores. Suggestions?

i know its not a storm product, but the plague is pretty similar. although in my experience (having both) the plague is slightly more angular on the back end.

Interesting, thanks for the input. I have a lead on a Swagga, so that may be similar too?

I would contend they are no more different than a Marvel and a Special Agent, but be that as it may... I provided specifics on how the 2 balls are different, it's up to the OP to decide if its helpful. If you have a dissenting opinion, fine, post it. Your post serves little purpose but to increase the reputation of negativity on this site. I don't see your positive contribution to this thread anywhere.

Guys, I'd appreciate it if you'd take the non-topic comments offline. I'm really tired of getting a new mail alert from Ballreviews only to find out it's you two going back oand forth in my thread...
Please? :)
thanks in advance

Back on task....what about a 2Furious? Same coverstock, slightly lower differential, but similar RG. Reasonable price and very underrated as far as Storm products are concerned.

Thansk for the suggestion, but I like to stay under an Rg of 2.50 with my rotation numbers, and the higher diff the better... I appreciate the reply though!

How much would you let your special agent your getting rid of go for?

well outside of another special agent, a T-Road Solid to me is somewhat similar...only a slightly higher Rg but its also a higher diff.
maybe an AMF Shredder (2.48/.054) only thing is it comes polished compared to the Special

Shredder is a good thought, thanks. Specs are definitely where I'm looking, but I've had trouble matching up to AMF.. I don't know, maybe another try....
Not getting rid of the Special right now, just time to put something in its spot in the bag. It's going to stay with me for special purposes until I find the perm replacement.
