Attitude Shift
« on: December 11, 2007, 12:43:30 PM »
I have been thinking of buying an Attitude Shift from my local pro shop.  I hoping you guys could give me your thoughts and opinions of this ball.  What are its strengths and weaknesses etc.

attitude shift is becoming my fav ball. Ball motion is perfect for me handles oil but doesnt roll to early and the carry is amazing. Very good piece by storm. Only weakness is i dont have a 2nd one yet. I have mine drilled pin above ring and my 2nd will be below the bridge with some surface to really have the 2nd attitude handle oil

I tried my friend's Attitude (we have the same span) and he told me that he had it drill for maximum hook. The pin was at least 1 inch above his fingers or 5 - 5 1/2 inch from his pap and the key looks around 75 degrees. This layout will produce length and strong backend. I tried it on a freshly oiled house shot and even with this drilling the ball was hooking alot. I had to play between third and forth arrows to keep the ball on the right side of the pocket. Imagine how much more the ball would react if it was drilled for heavier oil patterns.

It's a very nice ball. Very strong and from what I can see, versatile.

Personally, I like it for the core/coverstock combination.  My Special Agent loses energy if it hits dry too soon.  I haven't had that problem w/my Attitude.  The core just gives the ball a nice continuation into the pocket & carries nicely.  Hope that helps.

My two teammates in my PBA experience league both have one.  That ball looks really good.  One of my teammates received the VIP ball because he runs the pro shop.  He has used this ball on several of the patterns.  It reacts well on all of the patterns.  He liked his so much he drilled a second one.  He keeps one dull and the other shiny.

I think I'm going to get one.

shot 300 with this ball friday nite. It hits like a tank, it is very consistent. if you bowl in a house with sufficient oil it is the best ball on the market. coverstock and core work together beautifully.

For me the ball is strong in the midlane with good power on the backs.  But I did have to put some polish on it to get it down the lane some.  I use this ball first out of the bag then I do have to switch after second game.  Very continuous drive through the pins, which is what I was looking for.
