Special Agent meets Chamelion...
« on: May 09, 2007, 01:30:22 PM »
Threw the Special Agent for the first time tonight on PBA Chamelion...not the ideal pattern to try a ball out for the first time but it worked!

Lane Surface: DBA IQ
Ball Layout: 4 x 4.5 pin in ring finger

Started off trying to play a tighter line inside only to watch the ball go jersey...so i stayed where i was at and just opened up a bit...i was amazed at where this ball was coming back from!

Starting line was 30 to 13 to 10...ball was very clean up front and very easy to read i might add...reved up nice in the mids and unleashed at the breakpoint

started the first game with six 9 counts trying to get my angles right...but got lined up and ended up shooting 606 on the night 204-200-202

missed a few easy spares but ill take a 200 avg on any pba pattern any night...nice part about this ball is the consistent reaction, no surprises, when it jumped it was time to move and it still carried just as well as i moved deeper through the night

Ending Line was 36 to 17 to 10ish ended up having a little room to bank it off of ten the last game

Overall id say i drilled myself a winner here...controllable power which should be great for the tougher patterns...should be interesting to see how much ball this really is on a house shot!

Thanks for reading

Nice shooting and thanks for the information. I'll be bowling on the Chamelion a week from tonight in my league. I wasn't sure what to throw on it but I might have to try my Special Agent now. Our specs are fairly close except you don't mention your ball speed in your profile.

If your THS leagues are like mine the Special will be too much ball 75% of the time. My Spit Fire sees the most action in league play.

My speed is typically around 15-15.5 at the pindeck...hope that helps!

Thanks.

My ball speed's higher but my Special is drilled to roll earlier than yours. Hopefully it will all balance out and that will be the ball. I really like the Special when I'm able to throw it.
