Why no praise for the Flash Force?
« on: July 04, 2004, 01:52:22 AM »
This looks like the best all around Storm release IMO.  I havent thrown storm since the Eraser Boost(hated it), but I would like to hear some feedback on the Flash Force since I was considering trying one later this month.

Here is the link for the review I did. It has been an excellent medium lane condition ball for me.

My Shop's Owner has drilled 2 for himself and a few others for some of our regulars.  Thus far it's a great medium oil ball...one which I've been thinking of drilling as well.  I think it's a matter of timing on this ball.  When the fall leagues start back up we'll sell a lot more of them...just like we did with the Flash Point and the end of last season.

read my review and add to it the fact that its a great ball to play deep with over medium conditions where the outsides are erratic(i have had huge success playing anywhere from 30-35 at the line out to 13-18 at the breakpoint...there is only one problem i have becoem aware of up until now...it is terrible over carrydown...worse than any other storm ball ive thrown and thats all i throw.  it is a very good ball now that i have found a spot for it, and i have also had some success playing more down and in than i did when i first got it.  if you can get it to roll a little bit earlier, rather than having a very deep breakpoint, the carry is unbeliveable...if its too late, you will leave corner after corner after corner.

Did not like a Boost, I can only assume it was not layed out for you game. The Flash Force is one of those balls like the Lighting STORM. A great ball but not for the general public, why, it does not give free hook people like. Ball passes through the heads with ease with a nice arc to make it's way back to the pocket.
