Hey, I am going to get some stuff to start working on adjusting my ball surfaces, but I've never done it before, so I didn't know what to go for. I was considering getting a surface adjustment kit off storm's site, but I don't know how good that would actually be (it has 1 bottle of MegaBite, 1 bottle of Reacta Clean, 1 bottle of Xtra Shine, three surface adjustment pads, (green, gray, and burgundy) and a towel). Would you guys recommend something different? Also, would I need to get a spinner to use the pads or could I hand scuff my ball with them? Thanks.

The surface adjustment kit will be useful. Pick up an assortment of Abralon Pads, 180 - 4000 grit, depending on what you want to do. 180/360 grit to resurface, 500-4000 to maintain/change surface conditions. You can pick them up on ebay or bowlersapproach.com (both my sources). You can do this without a spinner, but if you have $200 to put into it, you would be sooooooo much happier with the results and it is just so much easier. Hope this helps you.

The spinner pays for itself in the long run...Your equipment will last longer, you can do resurfaces yourself, and once your good at it, charge your buddies a few dollars to use it, or resurface for them.....One of the best investments you will ever make...

Hey, I just got the kit today from my parents, I was wondering if anyone knew the exact grits on the pads?
