I was lucky enough to drill two of these balls. The first ball has the pin 4 5/8 from my pap and the “key” 4 inches from my pap. The pin is only 1 ½ above the midline of my grip. I have a 25/32 balance hole on VAL in the thumb quadrant.  I tried this ball on our house pattern and on the Cheetah pattern.  On our house pattern this layout was clean thru the front, revving strong in the midlane, producing the strongest backend of any Storm asymmetrical ball I have ever thrown. On the Cheetah pattern I had to get the ball to the rim or else the ball was so strong down the lane that it would go high or crossover.  Many balls I try on the cheetah force me to play 7 to 2. With the Attitude Shift I had to play 15 to 2 with absolutely no quit in the backends.  The one concern I had was that the Attitude in box finish on shorter patterns would burn up and stop down the lane.  I am no longer concerned about that.

The second ball drilled has the pin 5 inches from my pap and the “key” 4 5/8 inches from my pap. The pin is 2 ¾ above the midline of my grip.  I have a 25/32 balance hole on VAL in the thumb quadrant.  On this ball I took the box finish and polished it with Storm Xtra Shine. On the fresh house pattern this ball allowed me to move 7 boards right and play closer to the friction and get a strong kick in the backend. On the cheetah this ball was 4 boards less than the out of box finish, but had a much more pronounced kick at the break point.  I’ve also used this ball in our 2nd shift league. The lanes tend to get tight down the lane and I struggle with some balls not recovering thru the carry down. This ball and layout had no problem getting thru this muck and still had great hitting power.

In conclusion this is the best asymmetrical release by Storm since the original X-Factor. If you like hook and versatility then this is the ball for you.
