As part of Columbia’s acquisition of Dynothane
Is this accurate...I thought Phil still owned Dyno?

The DT/C300 thing is very fuzzy. It's been said that it's a "strategic partnership" where Phil is pulling double duty with both companies but DT's stuff is still its own, with C300 providing manufacturing. Others have claimed that C300 owns DT outright (like they do with Track).
Without seeing the details of the contracts (and even then unlikely), and without seeing a press release free of BS buzzwords like "strategic partnership", whatever that means, we'll never know.

I've heard that C300 has the selling rights to DT and not the manufactoring rights...... Then again STORM did manufactor DT (If I'm not mistaken). So who knows whats gunna happen. I know that C300 is manufactoring the low end STORM stuff (tropicals for sure and I think the Jolt-line too)
thanks, Matt

Dyno still has all the rights to storm resin systems although they are also now produced by columbia. I have not heard of a timeline on that, and got to believe thats a heck of an advantage to Dyno as they can use the resin systems of either company. I'm sure there is much more too that.

I'm not sure where that comes from, but it is wrong. As part of our legal agreement with Columbia, our proprietary coverstocks and cores being used for the STORM branded products made by Columbia, would not be accessible for use or purchase by Columbia or any of their brands. Dynothane is still able to purchase the resin they use on their bowling balls. They DO NOT have access to any other resins that our manufactuer makes or is going to make!
Just wanted to clear up any confussion.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday Season!!!!

Interesting. Glad to see someone finally stopped saying yes to columbia and stop letting them rape and pillage everyone. They are like a bully on the block taking aggressively whatever and whoever they want.
