mine was over-under too. i tried everything from 500 sanded to 4000 polished and never found anything good. i hated that ball

The only things that are truly permanent are death and Sharpies.

Also did not like mine, very over/under and every surface. Going to stick with solids and weaker pearls.

I used the box finish a lot for a while and now use 2000 abralon by hand and like it a lot.

The Victory Road works best for me on broken down patterns that you need to chase the shot in with, its a skid flip ball that gives you the typical over under at times but when its on its phenominal.

I have a new in box VR and VR Solid I want to drill...  I usually put high flare "flip" drill patterns on pearls and low flare "arc" patterns on solids... On this line of balls in particular, would reversing this and modifying surfaces be more "manageable". Just wondering.

I absolutely love Storm's pearl balls but I've never liked them OOB. What works most the time for me is taking them to 2000ab and polishing them with Magic Shine. I've had success with 1000 and 2000 both dull and shined but 2000 shined seems to be the most versatile for me.

Good luck. Hope you get the reaction you're looking for.
