the kinetic is a skid/flip ball with a pearl coverstock the rapid fire is a solid if u want a ball thats about the same as the kinetic get the t-road pearl. the black widow pearl would be ok also

The Kinetic is not a pearl thats why I figured the Rapid Fire would be good

Kinetic is a lower RG solid that seems to get more length than the specs. show it should.  The closest Storm ball to the Kinetic IMO is the Attitude.  Rapid Fire and maybe the T-Road Solid could work as well, but if you are going to get a Rapid Fire I'd sand it to 2000 or so - otherwise you will get even more length than the Kinetic.

Assuming you want to try something different I'd get the Attitude.  Maybe a hair stronger than a Kinetic (based on the coverstock), but when it hits it is a monster.  I've just ordered mine for just that shot.

It might not be the same, but looking at the ball I think you will love it for what it is anyway.
