IMO you can not compare apples to oranges. The CNV is not a pearl and is more midlane dominant which can cause the ball to burn up on certain conditions. The 2D has the cover to read the midlane/carrydown and the core to keep it strong thru the pin deck. The 2D is much stronger off the spot without sacrifing ball motion.

I stand corrected, it is a pearl. I still feel it is not as strong as the 2D and loses energy as it makes its move where as the 2D just drives the pins.
