So i'm thinking of trying something out this fall. Going with a Street Rod Solid and a Street Rod Pearl.

I have a lower ball speed as well as a lower rev rate. I'm not that good at bowling but I'm trying to give myself two bowling balls that will work well with each other and be fitting for a house shot. I do already have a plastic.

Now with the logic of getting a Pearl and a Solid with the same core, the same layout I believe would be the way to go. Has anyone picked up this pair and have any comments, I may do some bowling outside of a THS but for the most part it will be on a house shot.

Also How does the Rapid Fire Solid and the Street Rod Solid compare?

Try the Gravity Shift and the Rapid Fire Solid. The Gravity gets down the lane and gives you a strong arching hook in the back. Good when you need something to get down the lane with strong recovery. The Rapid Fire Solid has a strong midlane roll than the Gravity which is better suited when the lanes are oilier at the heads. I love both balls. I have the Street Rod Solid and that ball needs alot more oil than the other two because of its dull coverstock. Hits very well but with your slower ball speed you might not be able to find enough oil to use it regularly. Good luck.
