Storm bowling ball type
« on: February 27, 2005, 09:45:08 AM »

Storm has Flash, Hot, and Hit Lines. I think they are all suitable for dry lanes. Any major differences between them? Heard that a lot people using Hot line for dry lane, but rarely know anyone using Flash line. Is the Hot line better than Flash line??

I sold a couple the Flash Point (her) and Flash Force (him) they bowl in the same league I do, we usually have dry(er) lanes, sometime med...but they love the balls. They both work fine for them. We very seldom have heavy oil, only after a city/county tourny...and then it's mostly broken down..but both balls work well in dry conditions.

my 2 cents are up

The Flash Line is designed to be a series of benchmark balls that cover a wide variety of lane conditions mostly medium to lighter volume patterns, for a large majority of bowlers at a reasonable price. They are not cutting edge technology and usually more stable coverstocks that are not super strong but they are balls that will work well for alot of bowlers.

The Hot line is a smaller set of balls right now with an older modified Thunder core that is also a very controllable ball but more of a high performance entry level ball for people looking for a good inexpensive ball with a higher performance that those balls in the Hit line which are entry level balls. These balls are also good for many tournament bowlers and league bowlers who bowl on a lighter volume pattern or drier lanes.
