Adding another ball to my Storm collection
« on: October 13, 2013, 06:19:37 PM »
This post is one of those just because posts plus I'm bored.

So I have:
T-Road Pearl*
Natural*
Gravity Shift
Victory Road Pearl
!Q Tour Pearl
Marvel Pearl*
Prodigy
Eraser PBT

*= currently in the bag.

So tomorrow or Tuesday I'll be picking up a Lights Out with one of my personal favorite layouts. Stacked Leverage Pin at 1 o'clock cg in the center. The plan is to permanently retire the T-Road Pearl with the Lights Out.

Then Change up the bag with the !Q Tour Pearl, Lights Out, and Natural. Might leave the Marvel Pearl in the bag because of shooting 699 last week with it.

I keep reading about how smooth it gets through the heads and makes a good move to the pocket with lots of energy at the pins. The last hybrid ball that I had in this same price range was a Brunswick BVP Rampage and I absolutely LOVED that ball, shot countless 277-279 games with it. I kind of expect the Lights Out to be similar or better overall. I was looking at getting the Super Natural but when I saw the pro-shop had one with a fairly strong layout on it I gave it a shot. It was a nice move but I had to be flawless on fresh oil. Not something that I really can see in my bag at the moment. Looking forward to bowling this week!
