Invasion vs Mutant / VE vs 2nd Demension
« on: April 20, 2010, 01:42:04 PM »
Two questions seeking advice and or thoughts.
 1. How would the invasion compare to the Mutant cell as far as playing fresh oil... im not a huge techincal bowler but is one ealrier then the other? like how do the reactions differ or dont they?

 2. Same question as above but with the VE and 2nd D... if you was looking to use one if you had an invasion or a VG or a mutant cell that started hooking up to soon and you needed a ball change.  I would have thought the VE would be the answer but i have seen Rhino page use the 2nd Demension in that sitation like at the TOC.  Is one a sure fire hit bc i havent seen the VE used a lot but iv seen a lot of the 2nd Demension.

Thansk so much for any comments or thoughts.  Just kind of feeling out how to shape up a new arsenal as all my equipment is outdated Thanks again

Weshawk09,

The Mutant Cell is going to hook earlier oob becuase it is 2000 grit sanded and the Invasion is 4000 grit sanded.  The Mutant Cell which is more angular than the original Cell has a dramatic break point or once it finds it's break point it makes a very sharp quick move and the Invasion is a storng continious arch and will get down the lane a little further.

The 2nd Dimension would more than likely be the best ball to go to in that situation becuase the VE has a hybrid cover-stock and will read the dry and mids stronger/earlier and the 2nd will push through it becuase it is all pearl and has a slightly higher RG.
