Title: Storm Domination Problem

Looking through the ring finger I can see where the core is cracked and there is also a section of the grip that has a lump.  I can take the grip out and sand down that problem, but is it a good idea to keep using this ball with the crack in the core?  I like the reaction, especially on wooden lanes, and don't want to drop the cash on a new ball.  Any thoughts?
