Storm Drive
« on: March 20, 2018, 08:21:51 AM »
I drilled this ball 4 X 4 X 2 just like I did the Timeless. The Timeless for me skid way too long down lane due to my ball speed so I was hesitant to get this ball. I am sure glad I did. This ball for me rolled out smooth, had a smooth arcing motion with great backend reaction. I have realized for me that their has to be plenty of oil. This ball is a must for Oily lanes.

Aren't rolling out and smooth arcing motion mutually exclusive?

Luke, I hope you are being sarcastic.  I was on the proshop staff for Storm.  Same shop that Dave McKay was at before AMF sold out to Bowlmor.  I learned the Storm equipment, and they make good equipment.  Had customers that loved Brunswick brands, Ebonite brands, and Motiv.  I now have 5 of Storm's latest balls.  I now bowl in houses that are medium to medium light oil.  With some small moves, I average the same with all 5 balls.  No "Magic" balls for me.  Haven't tried the dual block balls yet and since I am getting ready for knee surgery, we will see what new rocks they have when I get back.
14lb 15.5 mph at pins 325 Revs. Silver Coach, Ball Driller. In Bag:  Storm Pro-Motion, Hyroad X, Matchup, Code Red.

Yeah, pretty heavy on the sarcasm.  This guy writes some of the worst "reviews" I've ever seen though, and honestly gives the rest of us a bad name.  Every single write up he leaves here is short, full of "typical staffer" nonsense that's just sensationalized propaganda with the intent of moving units and keeping his contract.

Every ball somehow does everything right and some are even smooth and even and long and strong all at the same time, then he never returns to answer questions or offer any real advice.  He takes the whole minute and a half it takes to type this nonsense out just to get his review incentive credits and disappears.  It's honestly embarrassing.

Here we go again with complete nonsense. How can a ball have a smooth arc, but still have a great back end reaction? What is the point of doing reviews if you are just going to pass along descriptions that defy physics? Maybe you just have a hard time describing things. If so, skip the written reviews and just post videos.
