Storm Equinox

Storm’s latest performance ball is designed to handle 80% of those conditions that we see every week, with patterns between 39 and 44 feet, Storm really stepped up the game with the Equinox. Featuring an all new Solarion AI Core which has an RG of 2.48, Diff of 0.054 and PSA of 0.018 and is wrapped around the A1S Pearl cover. I drilled mine 4 x 4.5 x 2 hoping for a similar shape to my trusty Physix Blackout and after tweaking with the cover a little, this ball was all that was advertised. The first time I really got to throw it in a tournament was on Kegel Chromium and it struck ALOT. It blended out the dry parts of the lane and didn’t overreact and my misses in the oil the ball still picked up in the right part of the lane and carried. You can see the Solarion core really rev up in the middle of the lane but the A1S cover doesn’t over hook in the dry like some of the other pearl asymmetrical’s I’ve thrown. If you are looking for a ball for league or just a versatile pearl asymmetrical for those weekend tournaments, rush to your local VIP Pro Shop and grab the Equinox!
