Mine was early for me in box condition with a pin up layout, then when I separated my feet/target more it wouldn't make the corner. I shined it and got more of the same only with more closed down angles: too much ball to play straight with, too little ball to swing it.
I gave it to a fellow Storm lover with a super-mild layout (6" pin) and he won't put it down. And might drill another up with a stronger layout.
The impression I got was to try to super-shine it with a used 4000 abralon like I did a T-Road Solid a few years ago and throw it when the fronts were gone with a tame layout to keep it from getting into it's motion too quickly
