Review: This is a VERY strong ball! It reminds me of a UFO but a little earlier and more rounded/smoother. It was also more continuous on the backend than my Omega Crux which goes more forward off the end of the pattern. I was able to throw it on 4 different oil patterns ranging from 39’ to 43’ feet in length with the factory 2000 grit finish, 3000 and 4000 grit finishes. I had to keep the speed up with this ball or it would really grab and want to hook early. This will be a great ball for high speed players and players with a lower rev rate that can’t get a ball to hook up on longer/slicker conditions but like to play up the track area. High rev players will need plenty of oil and low speed players will need way less surface or even some polish. I can see this ball working really well on challenge/sport shots or “cliffed†lanes because it doesn’t boomerang on the backend which helps keep you in the pocket and doesn’t leave you ugly splits from steep angles. Although it hooks a ton, it is very easy to throw and a ton of high scores are being shot with this ball. This ball fits at the high end of the hook scale with the Omega Crux or UFO (big oil balls).
