Tour power was dull out of the box. I think more like about 1500 than 4000. However it polished up to the lane quickly, yet stayed smooth at the break point. Storm actually promoted it as a strong ball at its introduction, but it was the smooth controllable reaction that made the ball a hit with guys competing on flatter patterns.
Accutread was only really aggressive with a lot of surface, and it took a lot of maintenance to keep the surface strong. I remember putting a 600 grit on mine before a summer league session, and by the 6th frame it had tamed down plenty.
