Jason Belmonte has been one of the worlds best bowlers now for a very long time and his designs in the Signature line showcases that. The Journey is the latest ball to have the Belmo stamp on the side of it. It features the F-8 Core that was found in the Fate but it has the much anticipated TX-16 Pearl cover for the first time ever. I drilled mine 5.5 x 5 x 5 and left it at box finish. Now the Fate has been one of one of my most favorite pearl balls recently and with the introduction of the Journey, I believe it will have the same amount of use in my bag as the Fate. The overall strengths of the ball is about the same as the Fate but the shapes are different. For me the Fate was earlier and more rounded where the Journey is more pop down lane. I believe the Journey is going to be a must have ball in the bag for everyone and you can adjust the surface to fine tune the motion to your liking or need on those tournament patterns.
