Storm lights out

I used my storm lights out this weekend. In a tournament and absolutly loved the look it was giving me. It gave me plenty of length to get the ball further down the lane with plenty of smooth back end reaction to make it to the pocket. What a great mid range ball with a great controlable reaction. I average 230 for the 4 game block and was pretty happy with the performance of the lights out. I recommend this ball to anyone. Dark Star is a bit longer and weaker. This would fit perfect right above. But I have this with surface vs ds polished. Drilling similar

I don't have the Dark Star anymore. But I can tell you it was a good step down from my Nomad. I still have nomad and the lights out is much closer to Nomad than it would be Dark Star

Keep in mind the Nomad is still stronger. The Lights Out would fit perfectly in between those two. It really is a good ball. I've had two weeks and have incredible confidence throwing it. It is very predictable. Seriously the Nomad is my favorite ball of all time. Nothing else has been close. I've had a lot of balls I've really liked, but none that I could just pull out and throw to get my confidence back if I was struggling except the Nomad. I always know what the Nimad is going to do. It shows me everything. The Lights Out is going to be the sane just a touch weaker version

Perfect I think for my two handed powerhouse son.

He has a Hot Rod Super Sport Pearl dulled up that he owns(has lost a little pop as oil logged).  He has owned a Fast with the same core in the past and owned that too(a little weaker than this lights out I think but split in half in the bedroom closet).

Hopefully he will own this also!

The Lights Out has the tropical heat core wrapped on the R2S coverstock. A weaker core than the Up Roar which uses the Rumble core. I don't have the Up Roar but I believe the UP Roar would roll more heavier than the Lights Out.

The Turbine core in the Lights out I think has a little more diff(horsepower) than the Up Roar.

Can someone compare the lights out,  to the Roto Grip wrecker in terms of overall strength?

Looking to pick one of these up,  for a 38' med-light house shot when oil,  carries downlane.

This guy has a lot of reviews of Storm and Roto stuff.

I mean the Wrecker is a very similar strength core but in this guys videos all balls with this like 2.55 core with .41 diff seem to go straighter early.

He also has the Lights out video with a slightly stronger drilling and it looks just a touch stronger early and then squares up very well.  The Turbine core despite its 2.58 rg and .38 diff for some reason has always seemed to be a pretty quick revver.

I have balls with the Storm Turbine core and with the Roto Neutron core.  The Neutron core seems to cover more boards in the back the Turbine core despite the numbers being the same seems to really rev up.

Bottom line get the same reaction I would tend to move the Turbine core drillings slightly up and 1/2 inch closer to your PAP to get almost the same reaction!

I own a Tropical Heat solid and Tropical Heat Black Purple Hybrid(turbine), a Rising Star and a Shatter.

Note his drilling and reaction with this lights out is fantastic.  His weak drilled Wrecker not as great, his stronger drilling Rising Star and Shatter quite nice.
