How does the Sync compare to a HellRaiser Revenge?
« on: February 12, 2013, 05:50:29 PM »
Just looking for some info on how the Sync compares to the HRR.  Type of bowler they are best suited to, lane conditions, and shot shape.  I'm reading lots of good things about the Sync.  I already have a HRR that is still waiting to be drilled, but could possibly trade it for a Sync.  I'm primarily a stroker with lower revs, 14mph at the pins, low tilt and medium or more rotation.

Well based of others opinions on the hellraiser revenge, I'd have to say the sync will be a strong continuous arc. The hellraiser revenge rolls more like a hybrid because it is long and strong on the backend without overskidding the midlane like a pearl would. The sync will probably burn out if you plan to use it on ths. But the sync must have polish or oil to use on a ths. Both will be great choices on heavy or med heavy patterns. From there it's pretty much what motion do you want. By the way, if you bowl on an above average oiled house pattern, the .028 intermediate differential means more secure midlane read compared to a .020 or .017 with the nano's core being .020 and the vivid's and hellraiser revenge have a .017. The higher the intermeidate differential, the more the ball is core dominate which means be very careful when deciding how to drill the ball. The lower the intermediate differential, the more the ball is cover dominate unless the core is a 2.50 or lowerlike the iq tour series. Be very careful how you drill the sync if you decide to get one. That's why storm says the layout should use their special layouts
