New Storm Nova is new higher end asym that looks to replace the Parallax line and slot between the Proton and Spectre.  Has an interesting color combination that will distinguish itself from the rest giving it shelf appeal.  Prototypical low RG and higher differential wrapped in a hybrid coverstock.  Is that Kulick throwing a short pin layout?  LMBO!!!!!  Sorry....had to throw that in there.

To me, Sceptre looks great and this is awful with the Hot Pink and Lime combo. I've had plenty of balls with bright colors, I just can't get behind that this color combination was the best choice

As bowling balls go this is actually kind of pretty! I thought this was a Roto-Grip ball when I first looked at it! Its not so bad, really.

R2X hybrid on a big core.... fills the Astro spot (R2S).

Why do they keep recycling stuff, renaming it, and act like its something new?

This is what happens when covers and cores are popular among the masses and last a long time (see R2S).  So it becomes a mix and match with slight variances in cover formulas to achieve a desired strength and reaction.  This is why you saw the R2S on balls ranging from the $150 price point all the way to $220 until it got to a point R2S wasnt strong enough and therefore stronger covers like the NEX have been released.  At some point; R2S will get dropped to the line currently occupied by the Electrifys which have the Reactor covers and get paired with the Circuit core and get named a "new line".  The NEX covers will then drop down and so on.  The "new" covers never seen before tend to always get released in the upper performance releases.  Luke Rosdahl has a video on Youtube that goes in to the whole cover formula presentation.  This is just the nature of the beast and Storm is not the only company to do this.
