Storm Omega Crux Review
« on: February 19, 2020, 07:43:56 AM »
When I threw the Omega Crux for the first time, I was amazed at how clean the ball was for an Asymmetrical Core.  For someone who can't use Asymmetrical all that often on house shots, this ball seemed to be completely the opposite for me.  I use it every week in my league and it gives me one of my best reactions that I have seen all year!  The pearl cover gives this ball length but the fact it doesn't have polish allows it to grab the midlane still very strongly and continues great almost like a symmetrical ball.  For those who have the Crux Prime or need a strong ball that's clean, this Omega Crux is the ball to get.  For me, this ball is very versatile.  Not only can I play straighter up the lane in more oil but I can also create a lot of angle when trying to open up the lane.  This ball is very easy for me to use multiple games due to its great versatility.

Won't be me buying one though considering just scored a Rhino Pro purple off ebay in order to finally have a reactive weak enough for shot I bowl on.  Just with SPEC being a wet fart on house guessing going to be some pent up demand for a top end hook in the box Storm ball league bowlers can actually use besides Astrophysix which has been out for awhile now.  Then again maybe with nuclear cell coming out it gets overshadowed.

I agree I'm more excited for this one than any of the Storm/Roto stuff I've seen in almost the year I've been looking.  But like you said, I'm going to wait until the cell is out to demo them back to back.
