Probably int'l but I was surprised to see that the marvel-s and hyroad pearl were state side..so who knows..

Yeah I know! Yet they discontinued the nano pearl (ok with me) and they release two pearl defaints lol. I dont understand

Well I was checking out approval dates on bowl.com. typically a us release at the end of summer getts approved in august.
2011 vgnano pearl
2012 vivid
2013 ???
So we will see

I'm thinking the Premium Sync will be US and the X will be overseas since they just came out with the S. There's only three balls in the Premier line and they'll probably fill out that line before the end of the year.

Loved the ball. Got 3 in the basement for a rainy day. Loved the shot shape. Been throwing the VT XG you sold me and have been money with it. Incredibly strong and continuous. Hopefully the next Sync release is a mix between the XG and Anarchy. Would love it!

r3s was on the overseas release the Virtual Tour XG. Incredibly clean then violent off the break point. Took me awhile to get used to it. Would love to see it on another ball but for us release.

Well if that's the case I changed my mind, it's probably an overseas release. Maybe I'll try a Totally Defiant.

Glad to hear, bill, been scoring well with the Sync, but I just haven't matched up well with the Lucid. Haven't given up on it yet, but getting close...

I exclusively use my sync on synthetics with heavier volumes.
I havent had the best of luck with my lucid but have shot 300 with it. I tend to ball down to it on heavier patterns after the sync is laboring to the pocket. It does work well on sport oil too...dont be afraid to put step 2 polish on it as well. I did that to my critical theory and it it became the most wicked thing I ever threw!
If you polish it it will react most like the rest of storms pearls as they are polished too, and believe me the 4000 abralon without polish is not for everyone.

I'm bowling in another league this year on synthetic lanes which is a pretty tough shot. I've tried different surfaces on it and it's a lot stronger than I thought it would be. Seems to work best at 3000 polished, I'll try to throw it some more before fall leagues start. I had the same problem with my Nano Pearl and then I put a 500/4000 polished finish on it and tossed a 300 with it.

I usually have the best luck with hybrid releases from utah...cuz most of their pearls FOR ME either dont hook enough or hook too much off the spot..

Yeah, bill, they're having a Storm/ Roto demo days in Pottsvile, PA on Sept. 8th. You've probably seen the post. That must be about the time frame for whatever it is. It's about a 4 hour drive for me, might make the journey if I can.

Demo days are very fun, I got to 'test' test balls with boomershine and jeff carter, it was very cool!

If that's the case, the Marvel-X advertisement says it's fragrance is cherry. If you click on the link below and then look under the Marvel-X specifications and click on the first pdf that's under downloads it says fragrance cherry on the advertisement.

If you translate the webpage the fragrance translates to "Rising Sun"
As discussed before... I think Storm is catching on to the savvy customers in the US market judging whether or not a ball is international or domestic simply based on the presence of a fragrance.
There are around 10 international releases with fragrances listed on the HI-SP website and other overseas websites. BUT - I've never been able to use my own nose to verify that information.
All we really know is we really don't know...
PS - The translations Google produces for Asian websites can be humorous at times

Yeah, enjoy that stuff a lot, bill, like meeting the guys that are as crazy about bowling as we are. When you meet them, you understand why Storm is where they are. Met Boomershine, Marion, Duke, Shafer, Kretzer over the years at various seminars but haven't been able to meet my goals, want to shake hands with Bill Chrisman and congratulate him on what he's accomplished and I want to buy Weber a beer. Just one.

Yeah I had fun at the one they had for pro shops in ft. Wayne for their ball expo. I got to to test the invasion...rattled off 9 in a row with the test version on the invasion...it was black with an x and an o engraved on it ..it wad wicked strong on an easy pattern...:)
It was love at first site...I ended up buying 3 of them before they were discontinued lol

Now the Vivid, along with the IQ and Fire Road, is discontinued. So, now there are only the Sync and Lucid in the Premier line. Can't wait to see what's next...
