I am wondering what the differences between a Rapid Fire and a Grand Illusion might be??

I dont know but I will say this, the RAPID FIRE SOLID is one of the best balls I have ever thrown....its just sick.

I keep mine very polished and I just love the way it rolls. A very underrated ball if you ask me.

I have the RP solid. I may not like the ball as much as Big Jake but I do like the ball very much. It's works best for me when I want to play down and in. Very clean ball through the heads and mids with a medium to strong finish. The ball is not too jumpy and doesn't over react. Real controllable the way I have it drilled.

I've never thrown the Grand Illusion.

I haven't thrown both but I've drilled both for several people. I'd say it is a very close comparison with the Rapid Fire being a bit longer and snappier. Both are excellent benchmark balls that you can't go wrong with.

I agree with greenefam, id say the Rapid Fire is a little longer and snappier, where as the Grand Illusion starts just a little earlier and is smoother
