missing ball
« on: May 20, 2009, 01:03:26 AM »
I just put together my new storm arsenal and I fell like im missing something.

Virtural Gravity - 600 scotch brite
Hy ROad - obo(1500 + polish)
Secret Agent - 4000 abralon
Tropical Storm - 4000 plus polish

What do you think is missing out of my arsenal.
Here's a link of my style and ball rotation.

I could see you missing something between the virtual and the hyroad/secret or between the hyroad/secret and the tropical.

To me, the secret agent and the hyroad offer similar amounts of hook with different looks at the breakpoint.  The secret tends to be very smooth and continuous, whereas the hyroad has a stronger motion at the breakpoint with a little more length.  I could actually see either of these pieces fitting between the virtual and the tropical, though.  I would say that your decision should come down to what you have trouble with:

1) If the virtual gives you a good look to start and you have difficulty once the lanes start to transition (for instance, the virtual starts hooking too much and the hyroad is still skidding), I would go with something like the second dimension or the t-road solid.

2) If you have trouble when the hyroad starts hooking too much and the tropical is still skidding, I would go with the street rod pearl or perhaps the new Fast thats coming out.

Just judging from your rev rate and rotation being on the higher side, I could see the latter scenario being more probable.  It depends on the lane conditions that you see, and what you feel more comfortable with though.

IMHO every arsenal should have a hi-end pearl so my suggestion would be to get at least one of these although I do have both

a Gravity-Shift add/or a Second-Dimension...you will not be disapointed!

The Hy-Road isn't considered a hi end pearl?
