storm attitude shift--any information

What is the difference between the new storm attitude shift and the special agent?  What does the new core do for the attitude?

Anybody want to speculate, pontificate or just give an opinion?

All are welcome to contribute to this thread and thanks for any responses.

I guess this would require an in-depth analysis of the difference between the cores since I believe the coverstock is the same.

I am not familiar enough with the Shape-lock(sp?) core to compare the two.  I know it is assym. as opposed to the EMC core.

No he (at least I think) is saying compare the Attitude and the Special Agent.  Not the Attitude and the Shift.

Intitial thoughts would be big motor, strong coverstock. Also a marked mass bias that could be tweaked.

Could be interesting.

Special Agent - Low RG Symmetrical Core
Attitude Shift - Medium /High RG Asymmetrical Core

All other things equal (surface, layout, etc), I would expect the Attitude Shift to be slightly longer with more backend than the Special Agent.

thanks Chawk15.  I get the picture;longer and stronger at the breakpoint than the special; probably more for medium conditions rather than heavier oil.

I appreciate the respone;  Then how would it fit in in relation to the shift--a particle pearl?  Still longer and stronger? or a little bit earlier and stronger.

A particle pearl is going to be a little longer and a little more aggressive off the dry than a solid in general, but nowhere near as much as a regular pearl.  The Attitude Shift would be used for an earlier roll in oil than the Shift, but still longer than the Special Agent with its early rolling core.

If you look at all their other solids (except for the Passion which may be on its way out at some point), I don't see any with assym. cores.  I think maybe this one could be replacing the Passion or at least replacing that "solid with assym core" spot.  Looks like they are really emphasizing the symmetrical stuff right now.

I guess you could take this ball and get a more angular reaction out of it than the Special Agent (would have to know how to properly lay this thing) but I imagine because of the dull solid coverstock you could use it in some heavier oil.  I speak in general terms, but that's how I understand it.

Also, the R2S coverstock is definitely worth it.  I'm lovin' it McDonald's-style.
