Title: Storm Son!Q Video Review
Post by: Luke Rosdahl on January 29, 2018, 08:57:08 AM
Does it live up to the hype?  Well at least the hype came from the fans and not the company . . as always, I'm just here to present the info and let you decide for yourself, but this is the heaviest rolling ball Storm or Roto is producing right now in my opinion AND I have a big surprise that starts about halfway through the video!!

You say it's a few boards stronger than the Code Black. Would you say there is enough difference in the two for one to have both? Or is it more along the lines as a good replacement for the Code Black?

Currently have the CB and wonder if I should get another one to hold onto while I can or go with the son!q as a replacement when the time comes.

Luke,

What was the layout your wife was using on the Son!Q that she was throwing?

For me it's a totally different look as far as roll and shape goes, so I could definitely see having them both at the same time.  Code Black for me is like a stronger Marvel Pearl, Son!Q is like a slightly smoother Intense, very different ball motions in my opinion.  If you want a Code Black replacement, best to just find another one while you can because the Son!Q isn't it.

It was buried way down in the description on the video, but it's 55 x 4 1/2 x 50.
