Storm Sync
« on: December 13, 2012, 12:43:47 PM »
It apears Storm is set to release a new ball. Bowlers Journal mentions 2/5/13.

I seen a picture of the actual ball and its Asymetrical and it's a Solid.

Just wondering what ball the Sync will replace? I know the NANO has been since March 2011... so could it be that it's time to replace the NANO with some newer stronger core or some newer coverstock creation?

Your thoughts?

100% agree with Riggs on his assessment of the SYNC... Very accurate description in the physical traits of the SYNC

Riggs- How would you compare the Sync  to the Roto Grip Defiant?

If my observation helps and those interested don't mind <

SYNC vs. Defiant

Fronts- smoother, tighter rolling (more of stable than Defiant)
Mids- still smooth, heavier traction (more arc at this point than Defiant)
Breakpoint- round continual circular motion (whereas Defiant uses its energy to stand up at the break, entering the pins more vertical)

SYNC may very well handle volume the same if not more than the Defiant, while seeming to use its energy in equal parts as its rotating. Of course the ability to do so will likely be a subject of debate for many.

I was able to get the deepest with the SYNC as compared to the Defiant, Defiant   Edge and Lucid
