Post by: six pack on September 27, 2013, 07:30:24 PM
was one of my all time Favs! anything even remotely close reaction wise currently available?
I was going to pull the trigger on a super nat but was told I has at least a 2 week backorder.

The Thunder Flash Pro was the better ball, a better match of strong urethane cover and lower RG differential core, with high RG (2.56).

The AMF Hype Urethane was very similar in concept to the Thunder Flash:
strong almost pure urethane, virtually impossible to shine, RG: 2.522, Differential: 0.050

thanks for your thoughts
I liked the thunderflash polished and since it was very close to reactive it shined up easily
the two I'm considering is the super natural and the hammer blue .looking for something closer to cover then core. I know the motiv tank has the low rg core but not sure on the cover.

now that I've seen the Blue Vibe mentioned on here, I should comment. If you want something similar to the Thunder Flash, the Blue Vibe is not what you want... I've had mine for years, it's great on light-medium oil and when the shot breaks down I can just move left and watch it come back hard.

If you like that close to reactive feel, the Super Natural or Natural Pearl will probably be your best bet

if you're asking about the Blue Hammer Remake, I would recommend it. I havent personally thrown it(seen a couple), but the Vibe core is very user friendly. I havent seen many Natural Pearls and the Super Natural is still fairly new, so I can't comment a whole lot on them outside of the original Naturals seemed to have that old urethane roll but slightly more length.
