storm to replace my brunswick absolute inferno
« on: March 01, 2009, 04:29:58 PM »
im looking to switch to storm. currently using an old absolute inferno that i love to death. looking to get something comparable reaction wise.  play down and in with lower revs at 15 mph. thinking of the virtual.the dimension or the hy-road. i like the rough buff on the absolute. polished stuff gives me trouble getting to the pocket at times. i know the virtual hooks a ton and figured i would need to shine it a bit.  appreciate the help

Virtual hooks a ton, Dimension hooks a ton, closest reaction wise would be the Hy-Road.

If you don't like the polish on it, just knock it off with a 4000 grit pad.

I'd guess that a 2nd Dimension would come close, maybe with a 4.000 Abralon surface to get it close to an AI - but that would be my personal bet.

I believe the Hy-Road is going to give you  a similar look as the Absolute Inferno does. I recently replaced an AI with the Hy-road for one of my customers and he loves it as a replacement..I thought about the Second Dimension, and I still think it would be a good choice as well..

ive read alot of great things about the hyroad.  the hybrid cover scared me a bit. i threw my brothers shift oob and had trouble with the particle cover.  unless it was light oil i couldnt get it to hook up. how similar are these to each other overall?
