Its funny you ask this.. I was at my pro shop today and someone came in with a trauma and asked what ball compared to it, and the guy said the reign is the closest. The trauma had a unique core and cover mix.

I once had a Trauma and loved it for its strong but smooth move (was a pin-in ball, drilled strong) and tremendous hitting power (yup, the truck thing... ). When I had to replace it I made several ball attempts, but with no real good alternative that could take its place.

Finally, I got quite happy with a G-3 Gryphon from Visionary. It does not have the same strong move on the back end, is a tad cleaner through the heads, but comes overall pretty close.

From Storm's balls, I'd also agree that you should look into the Fire line of balls, because their core comes closest to the multi density thing inside the Trauma - the covers are just itchier. My personal dream would be a Twin-V core ball with Accu-Tread pearl cover, but that won't happen, I am afraid...

Trythe 2nd Dimension. I had a guy with a Trauma ER that  Ireplaced with a Dimension and he says it's VERY close .

With that info I'd say that the Trauma and 2nd DImension would be pretty close.
