Rough night for me and my Storm/Roto equipment
« on: December 06, 2013, 12:20:53 PM »
Started out with my new Deranged. That was sure not the ball to throw but I didn't change fast enough. I then went to my Fire Road for the second game that did absolutely nothing for me.  Got frustrated and decided to throw my plastic pancake spare ball off the corner and shot 211. I'm thinking I should only take my spare ball to league from now on.

Sounds like a light oil to dryish pattern out there. I feel your pain!

Some nites are like that.

In your post you make it sound like all you did for adjustments was make ball changes. Please tell me you made line changes, hand changes, ect...

2 weeks ago I started out with my IQTP and had a rough practice session before scoring. I made 6 different adjustments after 5 shots of warming up. I was making a change after every frame of the 1st game. Ended up shooting 173 with a 4 bagger to finish the game. Then went 229 and 258. 660 the night all with the same ball. This past wednesday I shot 673 with my Lights Out in the same manner. I have a whole new outlook this year with not caring about anything, never giving up, and making better adjustments.

I made a lot of adjustments.  hand positions.  Line Changes.  target changes.  Speed changes.  I've been bowling for years and have also bowled on competitive shots (in league and in the PBA) as well as your THS.  I've never had this much trouble before on a THS.  Bowlers on my pair were throwing a Disturbed, Rumble, Lucid, Rising star, First Blood and some big B ball I don't recall.  All playing the normal track area.

Sounds like a lot of grab and uphit if those balls are in the track and you're using plastic.

Was anyone else on the pair scoring well? And if they were scoring where were they playing?

2 of the 3 bowlers from the other team were bowling well.  However, they had high rev rates and speed.  Im only around 13-14mph where they are between 17-19mph.  My rev rate is low around 225-250.
