Street Rod Observations
« on: April 10, 2008, 12:47:05 AM »
Wow, I wish I would have had these when I went to ABQ.

Street Rod Pearl Stats:  4 inch pin.  Pin above bridge and 6 inches from PAP.  CG 4 1/4 from PAP with small hole on PAP

Street Rod Solid Stats:  2 1/4 inch pin.  Pin below bridge and 6 inches from PAP.  CG 4 1/4 from PAP with extra hole below PAP.

House Pattern:  oil per board 40ML, distance 40 FT, volume total 18.64ML, total boards crossed 466.

Both balls are out of box finish.

I can play both ball on top of each other.  The pearl has a later and more angular breakpoint than the solid.  Both are very controllable and respond well to hand position changes.   I would say that both have a more arcing motion with now signs of quitting.  The solid labored a little when I tried to cover too many boards, but that would not be my use for this ball anyway.

These are not the big booming type of ball, but would be a great compliment to the T-roads.  They might even be considered the poor man's T-road.  The Street Rods are going to be the balls to beat at their price point.
