Storm Step 2
« on: May 31, 2008, 01:39:59 PM »
I posted this in the coverstock prep board also:

So I've changed my game, and I'm finding that polished stuff is working a LOT more than it has in the past. I have a Pyro that is currently at 2000 Abralon, and I want to bring it back to it's OOB 1500 Polished. I'm in the process of purchasing a 360 pad and Storm Step. For those of you who have done this, what is the proper procedure? Sand the ball to 360, then apply the abrasive Step Two is what I'm assuming. Should I wait before I apply Step 2? What's the correct way to apply Step 2? Any and all info would be awesome. Thank you!

Take it down too 500 then apply Step 2.
If you would like it a little smoother through
the front part of the lane take it too
500 then up  too a 1,000 then apply Step 2.
Don't let Step 2 get too DRY while you apply it
too your Pyro keep it wet just read the Directions.
This works for any ball you want too take back 1500 Polished.
I like my PYRO oob or 1,000 Abralon works great both ways
for me.

It is near impossible to get the pyro back anywhere close to OOB. I had no luck no matter what i did.
