Last night I sanded my gravity shift from 1000 to 4000 abralon and then used an old 2000 pad to finish it off, shoot for around 3000. I then polished the ball with 3m Finesse It II. Pretty ball.
Used it at during league and it showed promise. 187 first game with two open frames. 214 second game one open, 10 pin. Third game 235 clean and should have been higher---operator error.
Out of the three game set, I left only 3 10 pins and struck pretty much at will. Ball retained more energy playing down and in. I did not have to move the entire set although I did change my hand position slightly as the line dried up.
Gravity Shift at this finish shows much promise. At 1000 and polish, good for only one game, maybe half of the second game during 5 men league. Stay with it any longer and you are cursed with ten pins. With the 3000 and polished, I may be able to use it all three games with slight adjustments in hand position and moves inside if needed.
