Storm overseas balls
« on: March 08, 2005, 11:19:11 AM »
Well I saw a Storm overseas ball that I really want to get. I was wondering if anyone knows of any websites or any numbers or something to contact in trying to get one? Thank you.

My girlfriend wants the clear heart ball. It is pretty cool, except it is a heart. Haha.

X-Facto Pro.

I got one myself, not yet drilled.

I emailed Storm a few weeks ago and they sent me the following data.

It's basically X-Factor core and XXX-Factor coverstock.

PRO X Factorâ„¢ Technical Data

•   Coverstock:          Monsoonâ„¢ Pearl Reactive
•   Factory Finish:       1500-grit Polish
•   Weight Block:       RADâ„¢ Motion Control Technology
•   Color:             Purple / Blue / Silver Pearl
•   Durometer:          73-75 Rex D-scale
•   Radius of Gyration:     2.53 (Low)
•   Differential:          .058 (High)
•   Mass Bias Differential:    .013 (High)
•   Flare Potential:       High (6” plus)
•   Logos –          Storm, Flying ‘S’, PRO X Factor,                      â€˜Eye of the Storm’ center of gravity,                   â€˜RAD’ mass bias location

I would really like an X-Factor Turning Point. Apparently it's basically a Fear Factor without any particles (Regular monsoon coverstock with the fear factor core)...

DaveSexton- CharlieBrown is right. That is what it exactly is. My friend has the Pro and loves it. It is very close into rolling just like the original X-Factor. I have been wanting to get one myself.

Dave,

I bought one (14lb) from the same seller (targetten) a few weeks ago, it cost me $135    So I think you got a huge bargin there!!!

The ball is not as blue as the picture.  Mine looks more like a lighter Absolute Inferno, and a bit like Columbia Messanger Ti B/S/P.

In perfect spec, with 3.5 inches pin, AND STILL NO HOLES!!!

Some of the clear balls (heart, spade, clover etc.) appear regularly on German ebay. Did not know that they were made by Storm?

But there are none of the performance balls to get hands on. The last ball that appeared in the old world was the EuroStorm 2.

Thanks Borincano. Those websites have a lot of overseas balls that are really hard to find, but I could not find the one I am looking for, the clear heart. Some of the website I totally d not understand and could not looking into them. Could someone let me know if the clear heart is on one the sites? Thank you.
