The Intense Inferno AND the Dyno-Thane Barrage are SIMILAR to the Sting Blade? Not in this lifetime. That's why I went to that website once and never again.

Intense is similar to the Sling blade. Both big backend medium-medium/light oilers.

Brunswick
There's a reason why Brunswick is so popular!

Sorry, Joe, from what I have seen, the Sling Blade needs lots of dry to make the turn. Seems ot be excellent dry-ish to medium-light oil ball. Intense is for medium-light oil, if you have 20 mph or if you do like I did: sand it to 2000 grit, then add Brunswick's high gloss polish, then drill pin above the bridge. Otherwise I can use it on medium to medium-heavy oil lanes. May be sensitive to drillings, but otherwise, makes a strong turn without a lot of dry.

The Sling blade is a med oil ball. It does need a dry spot to bounce off of but when it hits dry it makes a darn good move. Dry lanes it woudl be to much.

Sorry, Joe.

I realize now I've said this one too many times.
I didn't start out intentionally defending the Intense, but it seems to have come down to that.  Since I haven't thrown a Sling Blade, only seen them locally, I'll defer to your position on  it.
