Very nice review, the depth will really help out some guys I know looking into the Shift.

Thanks a lot, I couldn't really tell you much about the patterns I used it on, but I did use it on some old, although well maintained wood, some higher friction synthetics, and some slicker synthetics (don't know exactly what kind they were though).  I found it had the best reaction on the higher friction surfaces, if you want to use it on more heavy patterns or slick surfaces, you may want to touch up the surface a bit.
