I too, confess to love the HR hybrid. Please read my review.
http://www.ballreviews.com/Reviews/Reviews.asp?ManufacterID=11&BallID=596&ReviewID=24323I drilled the first one for a specific house condition that I was facing. Thinking about getting another drilled to go long. What a wonderful rolling ball.
I also purchased, the HR Pro Stock Pearl, have yet to roll that ball, review
pending. The HRPSP does have the monsoon coverstock, which was just recently
discontinued, as near as I can tell all monsoon coverstocks got the production axe. It will be interesting to see the difference in the balls. The Hybrid has the Reactor coverstock and is a mixed cover solid/pearl.
We shall see. Hybrid is awesome. If the Pearl doesn't do the trick.
A second, Hybrid will be in my future or the newest HR super sport Pearl with the reactor coverstock, also, that was just introduced. The Hot Rod line looks to rock, what an incredible value storm has in this line.
Sometimes when there is a drier shot in the Over/Under house. In the third game it would be nice to have a second drilled 4.5 X 5 to go a bit further down the lane with a later break point (my first was drilled 2.5 X 3.75 to roll early for that Over/Under house).
A fellow team member (senior bowler/215 average), bowls with a Hot Rod Pro Stock (Monsoon Coverstock) , he's a stroker with slow ball speed and very accurate, turned me on to this line, very grateful. Thank you.
