Sure Fire VS Secret Agent
« on: October 24, 2007, 09:45:26 AM »
I have both balls and they are layed out similar Sure Fire is direct pin under ring and the Secret Agent is layed out pin under ring but kicked out more to the right. The Surfaces are OOB on the Sure Fire 4000 and the Secret Agent is 1000. Ive been bowling at a house now with more oil now and Ive seen a stonger reaction out of my Sure Fire then My Secret Agent. Im thinking of taking my SA to 500 and see how it is. I also might check out the Attitude Shift if I cant get my SA noticibly stronger then my SU

Are both balls the same age?? meaning have you owned the SA much longer? I ask 'cause I also have the SA and its one of those balls that are high maintenance.

The Secret Agent is not meant to have a strong reaction - at least not the way a Sure Fire or Special Agent or Attitude Shift is. It is meant to provide a different look to fill a hole in an arsenal with a ball that handles oil well when scuffed and drier conditions well when shiny BUT DOES NOT MAKE A STRONG MOVE AT THE BREAKPOINT due its light load of particle/core configuration combination. I have on drilled with the pun in the palm and hit at 1,000 Ab that works well on a dull, fresh Shark pattern and another with the pin in my track at 4,000 Ab that I can use on Cheetah. Both give me great control.
